28kms west of Bingara via Narrabri/Bingara Road; 95kms south east of Moree; 103km south west of Inverell and 170kms to Tamworth

Undulating to low basalt grazing hill country interspersed with shallow valleys rising from chocolate to black alluvial flats along the Horton River.
Timber consists of Ironbark, Apple & White Box with Tea Tree along the creeks and some areas of pine on the slopes. 162 Ha have been cultivated. Cultivation country has been contoured where necessary.
