Emerald is a sound farming block on the outskirts of Old Town, Garah ideally suited for a starter block or additional investment within easy access of Garah silos.

Situation:

2kms north of Garah via Carnarvon Highway, 52 kms north of Moree.

Country:

Typical western flood plain country situated between the highway on the southern side and Gil Gil Creek on the northern side. Timber comprises of mostly Coolabah with Myall, Boonery, Coobie Wattle, Box, Wilga & Buddahk. Soils are generally black self-cracking clay type with areas of lighter chocolate loam on the creek.

Approx 130 hectares (320 acres) are being farmed.

1 x 22,500 litre tank and trough plus 3 risers from the Welbondongah Bore Scheme.

Fencing:

Boundary fence along the highway is new. The remainder is in stock-proof condition except for some of the give and take along the creek.
