Burmah is regarded as one of the signature properties in the highly regarded Graman/ Wallangra district of the northern NSW slopes.
Currently run as a cattle backgrounding operation, Burmah is recognized for the high quality steers it annually turns off for the feedlot trade. The property is noted for its soft black basalt soils ideally suiting it as an outstanding mixed farming or backgrounding and fattening operation backed up by excellent improvements to facilitate the whole enterprise.
Burmah has won the prestigious MDU (MacIntyre Development Unit) Award for sustainable agriculture in 1998 and the Champion of Champions in 2000 (highest accolade since the awards inception) as was judged by respected local industry representatives.
