Carawatha consists of 1000 acres (approx) of gently undulating arable country made up of approx 750 acres of heavy black basalt soil and 250 acres of lighter red soils. The remainder consists of native pastures that rise up to slopes and ridges. The native pasture has a mixture of white box, myall, kurrajongs and pine that provides great shelter for stock.
