From the moment you turn into Kemendine’ and drive up the steel post and rail lined road the quality of the infrastructure for the serious horseman is evident. Three day yards’ are on your left with a log cabin’ tack room behind. The tack room verandah and BBQ area overlook the 70 X 35mt arena. The arena is designed for the professional horseman with a cattle penning area for campdrafting, plus separate roping shutes and calf shute. Holding yards for cattle are adjacent to the arena.
The country ranges from creek flats, with frontage to the crystal clear water in Duncan’s Creek, to direct drilled hill pastures and then to steeper hill grazing and into heavily timbered valleys. Great country for putting muscle on horses! At present carrying around 100 breeders and calves (plus horses) the infrastructure for the cattle is no less impressive with 3 sets of steel cattle yards, a timber framed hayshed and a 3 bay, 18 X 8mt steel hay / machinery shed.
Spring fed dams, Duncan’s Creek, and 900ml high rain fall offer water security.
