Kilburnie would have to be one of the most versatile and productive properties in the Rankins Springs district. Always “up there” with crop yields and certainly doing the property proud with their lamb sales the vendors have been extremely happy with their 60 years of ownership of “Kilburnie”. With well over 3000 acres of arable country and the balance being a more semi timbered area the property lends itself to be a mixed farming enterprise and with the introduction of a lamb feedlot complex and the large grain storage (1800t) then Kilburnie lacks nothing in its management of either the cropping program or its livestock production. Cattle have been run in the past but with the past drought conditions numbers were reduced. Improvements are second to none with a modern appointed homestead overlooking the property, very good fencing, excellent stock waters, also with its own bore, good fencing and a sealed road access into town. Enquiries and inspections most welcome settlement of the property would be after harvest – say January 2011.
