Exquisite, contemporary and practical are words that came to mind when I first wandered through this exceptional family home. What a beautiful, tranquil place to call ‘home’… Sitting atop the Escarpment the views are simply amazing. I take a moment to indulge in the soft breeze and a kiss from the sun as she sets. It’s almost like being on a mountain… you can see for miles. Brightly coloured toys rest in the yard below. I imagine the children love their play time, building cubby houses and playing fetch with their furry friend Jack. The sparkling pool would be a delightful treat in the heat of the day too. The top balcony is all set for the evening meal – Dad fires up the bbq while Mum sets the table. Although there is an 8-seater dining table inside, it would be a shame to miss the sunset and refreshing Dry season breeze. Back inside, family living seems effortless. The living areas flow so well and the feature wall at the top of the timber staircase creates a partition and doubles as a great spot for the big flat screen TV. Practical in every sense, with a stainless steel bench and 5-burner gas cook top, the kitchen looks amazing and I believe it would make me a better cook! Down the hallway, I find 4 bedrooms and a stunning bathroom; plenty of room for a family of four and a spare room for when Grandma comes to visit. Each bedroom has its own robe, air-conditioning and just the right amount of natural light; but the master bedroom is extra special with its own stunning ensuite and a private balcony, an ideal spot for some star-gazing. I make my way downstairs to a separate retreat for guests, a very clever idea, with its own bathroom and a private bedroom. French doors open out to another outdoor entertaining deck and that soothing breeze finds me once again. I only wish that I could call 8 Helicia Court MY home… Year Built: 2004 Council Rates: $1,090.00 pa (approx) Land Area: 929 sqm Easement: Electricity supply to PAWA Pool Fencing: Compliant to Modified Australian Standard (MAS)
