Forget the advertising hype and glossy photos. What they don’t tell you is what it is really like to live in this amazing house. What it is like to have a bushland reserve on your back boundary, where the setting western sun is filtered through the trees, where you have the complete contrast of looking over the busy Brisbane River towards the Gateway Bridge with all its cruise ship comings and goings, little sailing boats flying along, tugs doing their job. When there are fireworks over the river at Portside, you feel like they are right at the end of the back deck. At the end of the day, there is no better way to relax than with a glass of bubbles with the windows thrown wide overlooking the startling blue of the Gate Bridge lights. That’s why we built the New Guinea Rosewood bar in this very spot. And in the mornings, you can spread out the newspaper and enjoy a cup of tea in the morning sun.

There are four spacious bedrooms, two up and two down, huge study and a teenager’s retreat flowing to the lovely pool.
