Woodford is a small town retaining turn of the century architecture in the shopping precinct with streetscape works creating an additional atmosphere of welcome. It is possibly one of the few remaining towns with an active cattle sale yard located at the top of the main street. For many years, thousands of people have been attracted to annual Folk Festival which runs from 27 December to 1 January.
