We are truly proud to present this fine property and all that it offers…
This prestigious Coorparoo landmark home was the dream of Wickham Terrace Specialist, Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr John Lahz who was inspired by his travels through Europe and wished to create a castle of his own. It was designed by renowned architect Leo Drinan (in partnership with Hennessy and Hennessy, architects of the St Lucia University building) and built in the 1930′s. Dr Lahz lived there with his family until the early 1960′s. It was then sold by his widow to State Government Minister the Hon. Norm Lee MLA and his wife Dot. The Lee family lived in the castle for 36 years, selling in 1997.
