The House:
When I drove up to the home the first time, the first thing that stood out was that they had SIDE ACCESS for a caravan. This is probably one of the most unique selling points of this home as there are only very few homes in Kuraby with this ADDED BENEFIT. With a very wide frontage, the street appeal of this home really stands out. From the driveway, all the way up to the roof tiles, this home displayed quality at its very best.
The Home:
When the seller’s welcomed me to their home, they were beaming with pride. Who woudn’t be when all your hard work has culminated into this PERFECT FAMILY HOME. From the polished bamboo floors to the warm and inviting colour schemes throughout this house, my “Wow” factor was certainly achieved. So I sat down with them, and I asked them to tell me why they loved living in this home. From our conversation, I was happy that their enthusiasm reflected the quality of their home.
The Features:
Upper Level
The Bedrooms:- three upstairs. The main bedroom is quite large with large ensuite and built in robes. The main bedroom leads out to a private balcony overlooking the view of Kuraby. The other two bedrooms are located away from the living area and adjoin a renovated bathroom.
The Kitchen:- Solid Granite Benchtops with Smeg Appliances make this little part of the home very Chef friendly. Their son, a retired cabinet maker, made sure that his parent’s kitchen was built with lots of storage in mind, from it’s pull out pantry to some unique cupboard designs.
The Living Areas:- The formal lounge and dining is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. The warm tones of this room really does make you want to curl up on the couch and take a nice afternoon nap. The family room is adjacent to the kitchen and is perfectly located if you wanted to entertain at the back of the home.

Ground Level
This is where the home becomes a little interesting:-
There is a fourth bedroom located on the second level. When I saw this, I thought of the potential to rent out the room downstairs for some extra income. It has its own entrance from downstairs and access to the laundry where you could put a third bathroom.
It also has a third toilet and laundry on the second level. The most unique thing about the ground level, is its under the home storage area. The seller’s told me they had personally dug out all the soil by hand from under the home and then built it in with solid besser blocks and concrete. That blew my mind, because I could only think of the many hours of intensive labour that went into this.
The rumpus is located downstairs and can be extended into the storage area if you require the space.
The Outside:-
800m2 block…yes…a decent block, and used to its full potential. An inground salt water pool with its huge entertaining area really sold the home to me. It was well thought off and well positioned on the block.
