PRICE REDUCED – Excellent self mulching black clay soils and 2 bores supplying good quality water are a feature of this farm. Neighbouring farms produce a variety of vegetables including egg plant, pumpkins and melons. Approximately 8ha are laser levelled and set up for trickle irrigation. A further 20ha suitable for cultivation have been cleared and disced but not yet levelled. Another 20ha have been cleared and has some low regrowth. The farm slopes from either side toward a central gully. This natural slope is ideal for irrigation with the gully suitable for catching farm run off. The soils are rich dark loams along the 300m frontage to Molongle Creek running to dark clay soils.

The water supply comes from 3 bores. Two are equipped, connected to power and each pump approximately 3500ga/hr. They both have low salt levels of about 700ppm. The third bore is unequipped. There is also a 27ML water harvesting license from Molongle Creek.

A recently built 7mx14m lockable steel shed has 2 roller door access with an adjoining 6 pallet cold room. There is also a partially built concrete block chemical shed.

The farm is 2km from Gumlu and Gumlu is 38km South of Home Hill, 50km South of Ayr, 138km South of Townsville and 60km North of Bowen. There is a Primary School, shop and postal agency in Gumlu. There are also many large horticultural farms in the neighbouring area. Home Hill has a population of about 3000 with 2 primary schools, a high school, TAFE, hospital, ambulance, aged care facility, banks, supermarkets, Inkerman sugar mill, race course, caravan park and swimming pool. Gumlu is the access point for the new Conquest Gold Mine currently being developed a little further inland.
