Nice and flat for building on with town water and sewerage. Trades considered. Check out the township of Dirranbandi on a Google search—you may well be very surprised!
Dirranbandi is the gateway to the Culgoa Flood Plains National Park and its name translates as ‘abounding in frogs and waterfowl’. This is a region of surprising diversity, rich in native bird and animal life with wide open spaces and waterways. The district around Dirranbandi supports cattle and cotton and has been described as some of the finest wool growing country in Australia. Dirranbandi is also home to Cubbie Station, the largest privately owned cotton property in the Southern Hemisphere. During the picking season the town’s population almost doubles when backpackers flock to the area for casual labour.
