Kingaroy is the largest town in the South Burnett with a population of 12,500 residents and takes in an area of 2,422sq kilometres. It has been predicted that Kingaroy could increase up to 47 percent in the next five years as considerable industrial projects went on line. Kingaroy is also known as the Peanut Capital of Australia because Australias largest peanut processing plant is located in the town and peanut silos dominate the skyline.
