This is what you get when a builder decides to build his own retirement home. He is now grudgingly selling due to ill health.
He has been enjoying the southern deck during summer time, and the eastern deck for outdoor living year-round. Then there is also the large sunroom also on the eastern side of the home, where winter mornings are spent, and where the visitors bunk down when they stay over night. It is fitted out with reverse cycle air conditioning.
The main body of the house has an eat-in kitchen with a northern loft window allowing in the sunlight. Plus, you should see the size of the built-in pantry. On this same level you have a very large bedroom with an ensuite and built-in robe. From the built-in kitchen you step down into the large loungeroom with it’s wood heater for winter and the air conditioning for summer. As it turns out, neither are used much because the gardens are laid out as a natural insulator for all seasons.
There is a three bay shed with lights and power, plus an attached single carport. Then there is a two bay shed up at the top boundary for storing any machinery or additional vehicles ….. or junk.
There is also an irrigation system set up from the dam to see the garden through any drought. The water supply to the house comes from 20,000 gallons of rain water storage, which is a bit of an over-kill, but it adds to the feeling of security.
That might be enough for now; I will tell you the rest when you come for a viewing.
