This is the quiet life situated at the end of a culdesac, about 8 kms from town, but it needs some love and attention.
The land is gently sloping with views to the north and west, if you cleared the regrowth. It is rich red soil country and would make a good market gardening block. At some time in the past someone has built a large dam, which does not hold water because the soil is too rich and porous. However, the neighbour has an operating windmill which suggests an underground water supply. The entrance is very private, and the only neighbour has their house well shrouded by trees, so you feel quite secluded here. Power is at the front gate. I also know there is an old concrete water tank on this block somewhere, but I didn’t find it on this trip.
The vegetation map has it all in the white zone, so you could bring a dozer in and make the job quicker. Don’t mind the bush turkeys nest.
