Mogera represent an aggregation that has been put together over nearly 60 years by the present owners, with the latest acquisition being 22 years ago. It has a history of running both cattle and sheep and has run up to 4,500 mixed cattle and 10,000 sheep over the years. Steers bred and purchased were carried through to fat bullocks.

The aggregation has a diversity of country types with the harder run off country supplying the water for the local creeks which flood out over the flood plains and extensive flood out from the flat systems which are spread throughout.

The abundance of high and low mulga makes the aggregation for safe grazing during a dry period.
