With the new first home grant about to come in effect on the 12th october 2012 for $15,000. The developers will offer $8,000 towards the builders contract as well. The first home buyer must sign a builders contract and the $8,,000 will be held in the buyers solicitors trust account after settlement and released upon written confirmation that a builders contract has been signed. This money will only be released to the builder and can be used as a deposit for the builders contract.
