This is an interesting house. I was talking to the owner and he told me a few interesting facts that are not blindingly obvious when you 1st look at the house. There are cooper pipes instead of plastic, the home uses clay blocks instead of bricks and when you walk in you will understand why. It is so lovely and cool, the whirly birds and high roof line help as does the insulated ceiling. Three 5000gal poly rainwater tanks as well as the bore means there is no problems with water.

The roller doors on the double bay colourbond shed are 2.7 high for better clearance, the attached carport also has good clearance. The area is quiet and the grounds are tastefully landscaped and surrounded by a 1200mm ring lock fence. There is also a large 2nd enclosed fence area for a dog run.

Inside the home is absolutely stunning. All the rooms are a large size with tiled floors and timber ceilings further adding to the insulation. All the bedrooms have built in robes with the exception of the master bedroom that has a walk in robe and of course a ensuite. A pool room is located at the rear of the home but if you would rather spend time in one of the other two lounge rooms you are more than welcome. Just off the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is an undercover entertaining area with a privacy screen. The kitchen is a galley style with loads of bench space, cupboards and a pantry. All of this is in the original plans so it all flows very nicely indeed, there are no ad on here.

At the end of my conversation I asked the owner why he built his dream home in Parklands and this is what he said.

It is simple my wife feels safe here
