Not often do we see properties come up that have a permanent creek so it was a pleasure taking photos of these 54 acres (21.99ha) which have Cockadoodle Creek winding through them.
Ranging between 39m and 66m above sea level, the creek is lovely and has a concrete causeway over it for access. Vegetation along the creek is sub-tropical whilst the remainder of the block is natural bush with some millable timber throughout. A track has been pushed through making it easy to show the property. Most of the block is gently undulating and the bonus is there is a hill on the property where it would be nice to build and overlook the greenery of the creek vegetation.
If you are not ready to build, it would be a perfect block for those looking for some peace & privacy to escape to on their days off. Fully fenced, there are two entry points into the property.
Bitumen road whether you are coming in from the north or south to approx. 2km of the property. The gravel road is in good condition.
During summer, you can have a swim at Bucca Crossing (approx. 8km) – see photos 019 & 020 or meals and a drink at the Bucca Hotel which is approx. 7km. Alternatively, the Avondale Homestead Tavern is approx. 12km.
If you enjoy fishing, there is a boat ramp on tidal Kolan River at Avondale (approx. 21km) and beautiful Norval Park Beach is approx. 31km.
Approx. distances: Bundaberg 21km, Bucca Hotel 7km, Avondale Hotel 12km, Gladstone 170km.
