The words from the well known movie The Castle best sum up this property Ah the serenity. Surrounded by open grazing country on three sides and timbered areas to the east with no near neighbours except the grazing cattle, a resident mob of kangaroos and a variety of birds who frequent the area to eagerly accept being hand fed. The property is located near the end of a well formed gravel no through road which almost ensures that traffic noise is all but eliminated. This road forms part of the National Trail which stretches from Healesville (near Melbourne) to Cooktown. Munna Creek is fast becoming known for its country music with the Munna Creek Country Music Festival held annually in October at the Munna Creek Hall. The hall is only minutes from this property. The property is located approximately midway between Maryborough and Gympie which are both about 60 kilometres away. Tiaro, Gunalda and Glenwood are all approximately 30 kilometres away. Closer to home is Bauple at 20 kilometres and Gundiah at 19 kilometres. The home is compact, cosy and very well presented and has a very homely feel. An underground irrigation system makes watering of the gardens with dam water as easy as just turning on the tap. There is a system to top up the 5,000 gallon house tank from a tank which collects rainwater from the shed roof. Underground power is provided to the shed and workshop. Its one of those homes where you could live or very easily use it as a retreat to de-stress away from the hustle and bustle or if you and your friends are country music fans make it an annual rendezvous for the Munna Creek Country Music Festival.
