Owner is retiring after 13 years.
Business comes with 2 toyota Hiace Commuter Buses.
Both are Turbo Diesel – 2010 model with 12 seats, 2013 model with 14 seats.
The 14 seater requires the driver to hold a LR license, and the 12 seater can be driven on a ‘C’ class license (car license).
Both buses are registered until March 2014.
One bus operates on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, two buses are required Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Business operates 6 days a week approx 5pm – 1am.
Currently both vehicles have been serviced every 5000ks. As the vehicles are carrying passengers they are required to be inspected by Queensland Transport Machinery Inspections every 6 months.
Queensland Transport requires the operator to obtain an operator accreditation which is renewable annually. Initially Queensland Transport will issue a provisional accreditation and you have three months to obtain full accreditation. This accreditation is for a General Service Charter.
Drivers are required to hold a driver’s authorization, this includes a full medical check, plus a criminal history check. The criminal history check is done by Queensland Transport.
Across the waves has offered the new operator a contract for a period of three years with option of a further two more years. The mobile phone also goes with the business, as the number 0419 667 682 appears on all membership cards for members to contact the courtesy bus, if they require a lift.

The business operates an hourly rate.
