Extremely private 16.21 ha (40.05 acres) at the end of what is still a grass road.

It is so private that I had to phone the owner for directions to locate it over two ridges at the very end of a gazetted yet well vegetated road. Access is good via a concealed shale track.

The property has 412.6m of road frontage and is 409.2 m deep.

On the wildlife friendly fenced western boundary is the Watalgan State Forest. A short distance through this is Possum Creek.

The rear and eastern boundary are also fenced. Fencing on the front boundary of the property is in need of repair.

Soils are fertile and on adjoining properties are commercial orchards of Avocado and Lychee.

A ridge runs through the middle of the property. There are excellent dam sites at the rear and on the western side where a series of seasonal gullies feed Possum Creek.

Vegetation on the property has been zoned green (remnant not of concern). More specifically 80% has an RE code of 12.5.1 which is Open forest complex with Corymbia citriodora on subcoastal remnant Tertiary surfaces. Usually deep red soils. The other 20% has an RE code of 12.5.7 which is Corymbia citriodora, Eucalyptus portuensis, E. fibrosa subsp. fibrosa open forest on remnant Tertiary surfaces. Usually deep red soils.

There is a small area of white (non remnant vegetation) in the rear eastern corner.

500 Silky Oak trees have been planted throughout the property. There remain excellent stands of Iron Bark with Grass trees below in some areas.

Annual rates on the property are approximately $510 payable to the Bundaberg Regional Council. It is 8km from the Ocean and 10km from Winfield as the Kookaburra flies.
