Once called Palm Beach, it was a popular weekend destination for Cairns and the Atherton Tableland’s (now called Cairns Highlands) people who brought the whole family for their weekend picnic.
In the 80′s developers and international travel agents discovered the area. International Hotels followed and Palm Cove became the premier beach location it is today; the ultimate vacation destination. Just 30 minutes from the Cairns International Airport.
