A creek runs through the property and into a man made dam.
The property has 9 established ponds which are 1 holding pond, 7 fish ponds, 1 settling pond plus 2 settling drain ponds. The holding pond is elevated to enable gravity feed to the 7 lower ponds as well as to the shed and the nursery for any activities planned in the future. There are 2 more ponds of which one pond holds water and a new pond has been started but needs more work done to it.
All ponds can be filled two ways by pumping from the creek or from the settling pond by means of recycling water via an electric pump and underground pipes. There are 3 main line PVC pipes. The pump can be switched to diesel in case of a power failure. Each pond has 2 inlet pipes, an outlet pipe and a meter box is between each pond, at the creek dam and at the shed as well as the holding pond. The ponds can be filled
individually.
Previous to cyclone Larry the property boasted an established mangosteen orchard. Some shade trees for the mangosteen as well as some mangosteen have been spared by the cyclone.
