Imagine being a knight of old and wanting to sit at the round table…. Vine Castle is for you. This new re-creation of a 15th century castle has to be seen to believed, with two turrets separated by the great hall, guarded by gargoyles and black powder cannon. Step back into the past when you enter the great hall with slate floors, Celtic engravings and five metre high ceilings holding wrought iron candelabra. There is a pot belly stove and table large enough to feed a hungry hoard. Exit the great hall through the large double doors to an outdoor area for those sunny days.
The kitchen is huge with a commercial size wood stove that supplies hot water with electric back up. The castle did have a commercial kitchen licence and served Devonshire teas to tourist buses with good returns. It has four large bedrooms, one large bath room and two toilets.
The property has gardens with all variety of trees, and a dog proof fence around the boundary. It borders Vine creek where you can watch the platypus from the viewing hutch or swim in the water holes. Water is pumped from creek to a large tank that gravity feeds the house and Solar panels supply power back to the grid. There is a 12×9 and a 6×9 shed, plus two smaller sheds. IF YOU WANT TO BE KING OF YOUR OWN CASTLE, THIS IS FOR YOU!
A copy of the Sustainability Declaration is available from this office. Also a gentle slopeing block next door with rear boundry on vine creek , includes MF35 tractor and slasher. This is for seperate sale, PRICE $140000.
