Location: Located in the Mount Alma district Ayrdrie is situated on the southern side of the Mount Alma Range. Distances by road are; Calliope 45 kilometres to the east, Biloela 70 kilometres to the south west, the City of Gladstone 70 kilometres to the east and the City of Rockhampton 140 kilometres to the north.

Country: Ayrdrie is a large valley with Alma Creek running the full length of the property, the property has numerous creek flats and hollows and grows a large body of soft native pastures, wynn cassia and seca stylo has been introduced. Approximately 5,000 acres has been pulled.
Fencing: Subdivided into 5 main paddocks plus holding paddocks, the main creek is fenced on both sides so that cattle can be locked out of the creeks.
Water: Permanent water in Alma Creek, numerous dams and all paddocks have surface water plus equipped bores and wells. The water is generally 20* metres deep and the house and yards are supplied by a bore equipped with a windmill plus a second bore equipped with a jet pump.
