This little gem is well-hidden from the road and will really surprise you with the list of extras it has to offer. It has a big garden with fishpond, awaiting the touch of an avid gardener, or can be left pretty much alone as it is low-maintenance with lots of natives. There is a fresh funky ensuite, a later addition to the house complete with wrought-iron basin & towel rail to add character. The timber kitchen is quite unique with weathered timber doors and while small, has a huge pantry and makes quite good use of space. The home has classic floorboards throughout and lots of big windows to let in the natural light. Three sliding doors open out to the verandah and a little staircase leads you up to a secretive rooftop terrace revealing a snippet of view out to the islands! The three bedrooms are all spacious with built-ins and fans and the whole house has ducted air conditioning. Under the house you have enough parking for 3 cars, some fenced storage areas, a laundry, toilet and storeroom. Don’t be worried about all the timber either, a full pest report completed on 30 June 08 gave a very positive report and found no active termites at all!
The house is not much from the street, but I think you’ll find it really is a diamond in the rough.
