For me the views from this elevated hill site over Townsville are wonderful during the day, but at night the lights are simply magical. Clever design ensures that these views are enjoyed from the deck and entertaining area as well as the main bedroom, kitchen and living. Whether you enjoy entertaining your friends or just love dinner at home with a view than this is the home for you. Solid double timber doors form a formidable entry, but when open reveal the expansive open plan living areas beyond. Immediately my attention is drawn to the black bench tops of the kitchen but then the blue sky and view over the suburbs out towards the sea beckoned me to stop and stare. At this point I said to myself, this is something special.

There are five rooms in total, four bedrooms and the fifth is an office or occasional guest room. The master bedroom is quite large, the room curves around from the door and looks out onto the pool and city beyond. The walk-in robe is better than average in size, although men will ponder if there is sufficient room for our clothes despite this. There is also an ensuite with shower and separate spa tub. The three other bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home and are linked by a hallway and serviced by the main bathroom. All of these bedrooms are air-conditioned and include a built-in robe for storage. The rear most room also enjoys the view. The main bathroom includes a shower and separate bathtub. There is a choice of storage cupboards throughout the home as well.

Outside the tiled entertaining area is protected under roof but extends out onto the timber deck and the pebble-crete swimming pool beckons. Instantly I can see myself sitting back and taking in the view, the aroma of the BBQ and the Friday night footy just kicking off. Sheer bliss…
