Tower soars to new heights
COOLANGATTA’S Reflection on the Sea, Tower Two, has cemented its place as a premier development on the Coast after it
was handed the top honour at the Queensland Master Builders awards.
Built by Matrix Residential Projects, the luxury apartment development was awarded state project of the year as well
as a second category in the Master Builder’s State Housing and Construction Awards this month.
The 20-storey residential tower and commercial precinct is the “icing on the cake” for its developer, Niecon
Developments, which was also responsible for the first of the two towers fronting Marine Parade.
“Niecon started the millennium with the goal of becoming the Gold Coast’s premier builder of luxury apartments”,
said chief operating officer Mark Johnson.
“We believe we have been successful. We have won a string of awards with our Aqua tower at Labrador and with
the first Reflection tower.”
Master Builders executive director Graham Cuthbert said the categories were hotly contested and the calibre of work
meant that only the entries that demonstrated the highest skills were selected as finalists.
