Immersed in a landscape of tropical gardens, RIVERPOINT is a home where everyday is a day in paradise. Private, spoiled resort surrounds meld with the relaxed ambience of the Queensland waterfront to foster a lifestyle of relaxed indulgence. Every aspect capitalises on the position and views of the river, the hinterland, and the cityscape.
The design recognises the wisdom of Queensland’s building heritage, employing verandas and eaves and avenues for the flow of air and water to create a habitat which celebrates rather than resists the climate.
The main stair services five bedrooms feeding off a sweeping open passage. The master suite commands stunning views directly down Nerang River to the Surfers Paradise skyline. Come evening, lie back and watch the sun set over the hinterland. A further 3 bedrooms, all with adjoining ensuites, also share the river views.
The guest suite is located in a separate private pavilion accessed via a spectacular suspended walkway over the entry. A children’s study is also found on this level and could be used as a sixth bedroom. The study is contained within a stand-alone pavilion surrounded by balconies with spectacular views.
Outside, the estate meanders over an expansive 2600 square metres of secluded prime riverfront. Water trickles over river stones and snakes its way between established gardens around an alfresco tower pavilion housing a BBQ kitchen and lounge area an entertainers dream. Incorporated day beds and a cantilevered deck over the pool complete the picture of escape to an island retreat.
The expansive grounds spill down to the riverfront, and incorporate a championship north-south facing tennis court and extensive estate gardens.
Also at this level is direct access to the extensive basement, with ample provision for boat or jet ski storage and easy launch via the private boat ramp to the canal. Car parking is located centrally with easy access through the central stair to the kitchen zone. Parking is available for more than 10 cars.
