The design of the prestigious Copia building responds to the urban street frontage and to the passeggiata of the boardwalk along the waters edge.
The two ends both continue to define the wrapping of the public and semi-public uses around the base of the building and to address the open spaces and marina adjacent to them.
The upper levels of Copia are enclosed with a light and sculptured screen, constantly being manipulated by the occupants. The screen acts as a sun shade, a privacy device and as an ethereal layer creating a series of outdoor rooms along the facade.
Planted terraces to the ground floor apartments and vertical planters on the waterside break up the facade and bring the vegetation into the depth of the plan. The timber screens on the naturally lit fire stairs also divide the street facade vertically into five distinct parts.
Apartments will generally range from $975,000 for a two bedroom waterfront apartment to $2,750,000 for a luxury penthouse.
