The clouds are slowly smothering the mountains in the distance and you are sitting on the verandah after a hard days work watching the approaching storm slowly crowd in around you. The rain and clouds are a sight, weaving their stuff, causing a rainbow to form with its tail reaching down to the valley below.
The storm is now past, but leaves a thick cloud of fog that causes only the peaks of nearby mountains to emerge through the vast sea of cloud looking like a sleeping prehistoric giant rising from a nights sleep.
You are now realizing that this is not a dream but how it is most times when a storm approaches that you find solace in your own home in your neck of the woods.
This 3 bedroom home is charming with its floating timber floors and refurbished kitchen and newly painted walls and the open plan living area opening out on to the verandah of views.
There is a quaint little cottage being refurbished that is separate to the house that could be used for your own craft rooms or just extra space for the kids to spread out in with electricity and water also being available.
The Kookaburras, Cockatoos and Parrots are plentiful while “Bruce” the family’s python keeps a watchful eye out for any rodents should they make their way into his territory.
Nature abounds, with the native animals around, while the birds make their joyful sounds, in the trees that surround. this secluded home that I found.
The large three bay shed is to the side of the home which also has a lockable storage area.
