Located 1.3km from the town centre of Crows Nest in an established small acreage precinct. The majority of houses in close proximity are between three to ofur or seven to eight years old, mainly brick homes on 1.5 acres, apart from a few larger blocks that have been in the same families for many years.

Elevated with a Northerly aspect this 1.5 acres is located on the high side of the road, gently sloping, well drained and will suit slab home construction.

There is approximately 50 metres of sealed road frontage and town water is available.

A little bit about Crows Nest …

… I am guessing but the population of Crows Nest is probably around 2000 and a typical country town, with plenty of facilities within 20 to 30 minutes drive, being Highfields and Toowoomba, which has everything the majority of the population would require. The drive to Highfields is quite pleasant, going through hundreds of hectares of pine forests and open farming country of the New England Highway.

Crows Nest is approximately 30km from Highfields (12,000 population with projected 20,000 by 2020 and 40,000 by 2031, one fo the fastest growing towns in Queensland) approx 40km from Toowoomba City, which has a population of around 100,000. Toowoomba has very few vacant building blocks left which is why I believe Highfields and Crows Nest are predicted to grow substantially in the future.

Crows Nest has most of the needed facilities; IGA, two banks, post office, doctors, chemist, fuel depot, vehicle mechanics, mower sales and repair shop, hardware store, shoe store, take aways, pub with meals and accommodation, RSL, several real estate agencies, bowls club, nursery, community centre, Council chambers, library, golf club and course, computer shop and technician, retirement homes / centre, tyre service, two vehicle ambulance station, fire brigade, police station, produce, plumbers, builders, electricians, painters, etc, etc.
