This block is in the heart of some of the best quality grazing country the district has to offer. The block is in two almost even sized titles and each have ‘gazetted’ road access but would be deemed to be dry weather access only. 4WD access in wet conditions would be possible. The Thornville Range area is renowned for quality Basaltic Soils, both red and black and suitable to both breeding and fattening cattle.
Water is supplied by a windmill, tank and trough and most boundary fences are in very good condition. Some Ironbark Timber suitable for posts etc remain.
The property does require lantana eradication. The block ranges from steeper type basalt ridges to softer protected gullies, perfect for winter grazing.
The block will require clearing via machinery and spraying but soil quality will produce a high quality grazing block in the future.
