An historic stone cottage surrounded by rural land and framed by century old garden with magnificent European trees. Gum Glen was once the guest accommodation for the rural estate of the late Sir Arthur and Lady Rymill. It has been operated as a successful B & B facility and is currently disposed as a private residence. The 5 roomed cottage exhibits the charm of its era with thick blue stone walls, lofty ceilings, jarrah flooring and open fireplace with a modern addition of ESWA heating.

Adjacent to the cottage is a charming two story building offering bedroom accommodation over a stone cellar (both with split systems). Shedding is extensive and includes hay shed, tack room, garage plus shelter sheds.

Water is abundant from 100,000 ltr rain water storage and Grundfos equipped bore.

Only 30 mins to the Tollgate and light years from care.

HISTORY:
Research by family members in 1975 revealed the cottage, known as Amber Cottage was built as four rooms by Thomas John Tregoweth, with the help of his eldest sons.

The couple had nine children and lived on the property known as Gum Glen.

New Jarrah flooring replaced the original floorboards in 1917.

The formal lounge is part of the original structure and served the Tregoweths as two bedrooms whilst the current formal dining room was originally the living room.

Renovations carried out around 1985 saw the construction of the current kitchen, bathroom, laundry and second bedroom.

It would appear that the unattached third bedroom and the cellar were built some time after 1917.
