Ambleside Vineyard is in the prestigious South Australian grape growing region of Langhorne Creek on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula . Situated on the western side of the bitumen sealed Mount Barker Road 5 kilometres north of the Langhorne Creek township. Property Description

All horticultural plantings on the property are irrigated by drip irrigation with water drawn from the Murray River. The current proprietors are shareholders of a private water supply scheme, namely The Langhorne Creek Water Co (of which there are approximately 40 members) this scheme supplies water via a pipeline from Lake Alexandrina. The current water authorisation to supply water to the property from the River Murray of is 74.638 megalitres. In addition, the property has an underground water authorisation of approximately 8.862 megalitres plus rollover. The vineyard consists of approximately 5.7 ha (14 acres) of Cabernet, 7. ha (17.2 acres) of Shiraz and 3.75 ha (9.2 acres) of Malbec all of which are currently contracted to local winery Bleasdale up until and including the 2010 vintage.

The almond orchard is approximately 7.2 ha (18 acres) and all produce is sold through local company Clemco Almonds.
