Aperitifs and hors d’oeuvres served from your marvellous kitchen island bench to your special guests seated in the informal dining area, who are looking out the imposing bay window to the tri cherub based statue, water flowing into the goldfish filled pond, and best of all, this time you have engaged a professional chef to cater for everyone, so you can all enjoy the evening. When the Chef announces dinner is served, your party glides across the jarrah flooring, through the open plan family room and generous hallway into the formal dining area, where you all enjoy a culinary feast, most of the ingredients having been sourced from the local Willunga Farmers market, and naturally, the wine from one of your favourite local cellar doors.
After dinner, your party moves across to the formal lounge room, where the gents enjoy a port and the ladies a cocktail. This is a very special evening, you are celebrating your success of acquiring this enviable new lifestyle you have been working hard towards for many years. Cuban cigars are offered and declined, as the ambience of the quiet conversation and flames from the enchanting fluted fireplace with Bottochino marble hearth is too difficult to draw away from. Your hired help has cleared the dining table, and loaded the dishwasher for you and withdraw for the rest of the evening.
You are all dressed to the nines, looking forward to an evening out ballroom dancing. The host prepares the coffee, which is once again served in the formal dining room with desert. Midway through, heavy rain descends, making the flame fireplace even more appealing. The evening progresses wonderfully, everyone is having such a relaxing time, a guest suggests staying in for the evening. You agree, and suggest everyone stay over for the night, after all, the three spare bedrooms are already setup.
Well past midnight, everyone has retired for the evening, everyone except you, as you plunge into your luxurious spa bath, in your opulent bathroom ensuite.
The morning arrives, everyone slept in, being located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this enviable location is so quiet. Breakfast is enjoyed under the expansive outdoor entertaining area, where besides the fish pond and blossoming camellia bushes, your guests overlook the cascading waterfall towards the manicured garden.
