A well known local identity has put his house up for sale. He would like to continue living there for about another five years under a rental agreement, and then move a retirement unit when he is ready.

The reason he wants to stay put for now is that he has collected a large number of used bikes, which he restores and sells to donate money to charity. He also collect bottles and cans for charity, so his house and yard have become storage and work areas. And while he is still fit enough, he wants to continue with his charity work.

The property dates from 1975 and is showing its age here and there. The tiled roof has recently been resealed. Typical of the period, it is a 3 bedroom brick veneer home with pine floors. Two of the bedrooms have built-in robes and the third is used as a home office.

The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen has a reverse cycle air conditioner and some panelled feature walls. The kitchen cupboards appear to be rather older than seventies vintage, so were probably second hand at the time of building. There is also a small added back room ideal as a study or workroom.

The double length carport has gates and leads through to the single garage. The back yard contains a variety of fruit trees and three rainwater tanks, one of which is underground.

NOW FOR THE OPPORTUNITY…….

Not only is there a good, reliable tenant ready and waiting, but also the 733 square metre property is located on the fringe of the Port Willunga Old Survey Area and would be suitable for future redevelopment, subject to the necessary consents.
