This large allotment is only one block back from the coast with underground power and phone and a 10m x 9m shed.

American River is found between Penneshaw, where the ferry connects to the mainland, and Kingscote the main Kangaroo Island township, and is one of the few places that the Sealink shuttle bus stops on its route from these two centres.
