The are three circles totalling 91 hectares (226 acres) equipped with 3 centre pivots. The soils under irrigation are generally red loam over limestone through to sandy loam over clay. The circles feature Aurora lucerne sown in 2009 which has not been stocked as at late January 2010 to facilitate establishment. There is an abundance of feed. 100kg/ha DAP fertilizer was applied at sowing. The circles have previously applied with Cu. Zn and Boron in the process of hay production.
The balance of the pasture is based on Veldt grass, clovers and natural grasses.
