A coastal forest and wetland on the East Coast at St Helens, close to Georges Bay and ocean beaches. The property incorporates about one third of a large freshwater lagoon, the balance of which lies within a public reserve.

Legal access to the property is via Bittern Street. A track runs along the western boundary to the high point where a suitable development site is located, subject to Council approval. From this site there are views of Georges Bay filtered by the trees.

Connections to mains power, town water and a telephone line are available from the end of Bittern Street. A connection to the town sewerage system is available from a mains pipe running underground through the property.

St Helens has a variety of services including shopping centre, hospital, primary and high school.
