At 814 metres above sea level, Mount Ponsonby, known locally as The Bluff, is a Midlands land mark. It can be seen from any vantage point in the southern midlands and there is not much you cant see from it’s summit; Maria Island and the waters of the East Coast, Table Mountain in the highlands, and most of the lower midlands country. There are well established roads to all areas of the property including the summit.
The variety of different flora on the property is impressive, most notably Tasmania lanceolata, or the Tasmanian native pepper berry tree which is abundant in areas of the property.
There is plenty to attract a purchaser to The Bluff. Areas of open cleared land with access to spring water for a camp or hut site, there is a huge resource of young Stringybark trees that will mature into big straight trees in the future, there is a good store of firewood, there is plenty of wildlife, frontage to a bitumen road, and the property is virtually maintenance free.
A well priced and sound investment for the future.
