Just a few minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal is this magnificent block with access to Richard’s beach. This North West facing beach in Sykes Cove is beautifully sheltered from cold East and South East sea breezes and loses the sun late in the evening. It is an ideal summer time getaway-whether it is accessed by car, yacht or runnabout! The outlook from the numerous house sites is up the middle of Sykes Cove to Mount Wellington.
There is a large spring fed dam at the back of the block teeming with frogs which is begging to be stocked with trout. This dam could also nearly gravity feed a garden on any planned residences.(STCA).
The block has a nice balance of bush and pasture, with an equal area of each. There is pasture and fences for sheep, cattle or horses and plenty of room for children to ride around on bikes when they aren’t swimming at the sandy beach.
