Mauri Park is in the bottom of the Jordan River Valley at Dysart, 50 km north of Hobart and 11 km from the Midlands Highway on a bitumen road. It has 2 km of frontage to deep pools of water on the Jordan River and has Mauriston Rivulet running through the property. There is a 100 megalitre dam stocked with rainbow trout on Mauriston Rivulet and 2 water rights totalling 77 megalitres, including a 22 meg summer take.
Mauri Park is currently grazing sheep and cattle, and the level to sloping sandy loams have been irrigated to grow crops of poppies, peas, and cereals in the past. It also earns a good monthly royalty cheque from the sale of landscape quality gravel from a seemingly endless supply on a corner of the property. Some sand is also sold. There are areas of native bush and spectacular views over the surrounding valleys from the peaks.
The property has a myriad of potential uses from grazing and cropping, fishing and tourism ventures or just a secluded country property on which to build a home by the water for your own quiet enjoyment
