UPDATE: LOTS 1,2,3 and 4 ARE NOW COMPLETED AND AVAILABLE!

It’s difficult to imagine a better position to build a house anywhere and these four blocks on the ocean side of Eaglehawk Neck offer that opportunity. They are located at the entrance to the Tasman Peninsula only 79 kilometres from Hobart.

Set back about 30 metres from the beach you can enjoy the rugged coastal vistas from the apron of grass and low native vegetation immediately in front of the lots. Imagine sitting outside on a sunny day on your patio enjoying the stunning views and taking a stroll along this long white sandy beach and enjoying the uninterrupted views of the coast and beyond.

Just 19 km along the road is Australia’s most significant heritage site, the Port Arthur Historic Site, Over 273,000 visitors a year from around the world and from interstate flock to the Tasman Peninsula to discover the fascinating history of the convict era. Over 9 sites of major historical significance make up the Peninsula’s Convict Trail revealing the stories of the era in the remaining ruins and also in the scenic locations.

The region also draws visitors to experience its magnificent scenery, wonderful walks, great fishing and scuba diving. With the highest and most dramatic cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere, the walks in the Tasman National Park are among the most spectacular experiences in Australia. Boats can be chartered for game fishing; tuna is the main variety caught. The local sea caves are reputed to offer the best temperate diving in the world.

This land is located immediately adjacent to The Parks and Wildlife major attraction, the original military Officers Mess, which was home and headquarters for the young officers in charge of the guarding entrance to the Peninsula. The 1832 building has been preserved and offers a revealing interpretation of the lives of its early inhabitants.

Future coastal land developments are to be severely restricted with new legislative changes to planning schemes to protect precious coastal land. This is one of the few existing coastal sites available for residential use.
