43 acres right on the edge of picturesque Fortescue Bay in the heart of the Tasman National Park and adjoining the Three Capes Track.
Heavily timbered in parts and rising from the shores of the Bay to the western ridges, this area has been harvested for timber over the years.
The established regrowth forest is pretty well the same as it was when the indigenous people starting camping here thousands of years ago and feasted on the abundant abalone, crayfish, scallops, mutton birds and the like.
These days a pair of Sea Eagles keep watch over the Bay and continue to also feast on Nature’s bounty.
Land access is problematic and will need to be negotiated with the relevant authorities but you can always drop anchor in the serene surrounds of Canoe Bay and row ashore.
