The images of this bush block dont do justice to the magnificence of the areas natural environment. There are tall stands of eucalypt, a health range of understorey plants and subalpine forest where many of Tasmanias native wildlife species live. A unique feature is the stunning crystal clear stream flowing from Mount Wellington with a waterfall that creates a natural boundary on the mountain side or south side of the land and eventually becomes the New Town Rivulet.
Zoned rural residential and part of the Bushy Creek precinct (Rural C) the 4.5 hectares (approx.) are undulating with several level sites. The surrounding area is relatively untouched with only one single dwelling on each large parcel of land assuring privacy, tranquility and uninterrupted native bushland and mountain views. Access is via a private unmade road. A dwelling will require on-site waste water disposal, subject to council approval, as the area is not serviced. The location is amazing, approximately fifteen minutes from the city with schools, public transport and amenities close by.
