This weatherboard house off Sommers Bay Road at Murdunna was originally a holiday home and over the years new rooms have been added so that now it is quite a roomy home. It does need some tender loving care to bring it up to a standard but it is not major work, rather a handy man’s approach to attend to those little things.
Entry to the house is through an enclosed back patio/sunroom into a large lounge/dining area. There are two good size bedrooms off to the side and a separate kitchen and bathroom at the front of the house.
There is also a barbeque shelter off one end of the house with a concrete floor; perspex type roof and nylon mesh on the sides. All the windows are aluminium and most have screens.
Outside there is a good size backyard, a large weatherboard garage with roll up door and water tanks with a combined capacity of approximately 4000 gallons.
The views over King George sound are filtered through the trees and the property below and the edge of the bay is at the end of the lane in which the house is situated.
