Frederick Henry Bay is steeped in history with such explorers as d’Entrecasteaux, Tasman, Cook, Bligh and Furneaux.
Primrose Sands is a small township of approx 1000 people in south-eastern Tasmania, near Hobart. It lies at the northern channel between Frederick Henry Bay and Norfolk Bay. It is considered one of the more affordable suburbs of Hobart.

The location is within easy reach of fast-growing Sorell with its many new attractions and services. A little further beyond Sorell is Hobart International Airport which is about to undergo major renovations with an extended runway.
From Primrose Sands you are also within easy reach of not only Hobart but the tourist destinations of Port Arthur and East Coast Drive to Swansea and Coles Bay.
